Hi, I’m Elisa — owner of Jazzercise Aberdeen City, instructor, student midwife, twin mum, and full‑time cheerleader for anyone who wants to feel stronger, happier, and more themselves through movement.
My Jazzercise journey started back in 2012, when I came home from my honeymoon in Orlando feeling unfit, bloated, and ready for a change. I walked into my first class and was instantly hooked — the music, the energy, the community. Before long, I was doing seven classes a week and loving every sweaty second.
I certified as an instructor in 2015 and took the leap into franchise ownership in 2017. I previously ran the Bucksburn & Danestone classes and now proudly lead the Jazzercise Aberdeen City Franchise, supported by my incredible team — Lucy, Elly, and Charlene — who help bring the fun, fire, and motivation to every class we deliver.
Alongside running the studio, I’m also a third‑year student midwife (qualifying very soon!), and Jazzercise has genuinely kept me sane throughout my studies. I’m a big believer in work/life balance and the power of movement for both physical and mental health.
My own fitness journey hasn’t been straightforward. Living with Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, and Graves Disease, as well as a full hysterectomy at just 40 years old, has shaped my adult life and my relationship with my body. But Jazzercise has been my constant — a place where I can move, breathe, reset, and feel strong again.
Whether you’re stepping into class for the first time or you’ve been dancing with us for years, I’m here to make sure you feel supported, challenged, and celebrated. Expect good vibes, great music, and a whole lot of joy — because fitness should feel like something you get to do, not something you have to do.
